On December 6th 2018, six days after moving into a new apartment, the building was purposefully set on fire. On the same night a few hours beforehand, I was beat up on the street. For the next three months I lived in a hotel.
Before moving to Germany the idea of living in a country with real snow every winter made me very happy. That winter, like the one previous, Berlin had very little snowfall, so in early January 2019 I went to Tallinn.
