In September 2025, along with my colleague Eveline Moczko, I founded and launched the Sonntag Grant for Photography. It is an annual photography grant aiming to support FLINTA artists. Each year, one photographer will be funded to develop a project. The focus is on giving time, support and space to pursue new or ongoing work.
Submissions for the first open call closed on October 31st 2025, and we received 740 in total from 83 nationalities. During the open call, we hosted an exhibition at aperture film lab in Berlin where we promoted the work from 11 photographers, and we were lucky enough to have various types of partnerships with C/O Berlin, Ephemere Photo Fest, FUTURES Photography and many others.
